BGSU Studios in the New Media and Emerging Technology Center

This new, flexible 10.2 system has been speced for thirteen different loudspeaker setups, and we're continuing to add more! Tape markings on the floor allow us to easily set up for different applications including various stereo and quad combinations, 5.1, 7.1, and many eight-channel configurations including Ambisonics. The front wall is white to allow for video projection and/or motion tracking. There are two subs in this space -- one in the front and one in the rear.

Items still outstanding for this studio include a hanging video projector and interactive gadgets. (The Mackie Control surfaces were ordered, but have not arrived yet.) Really, there's not much to see except a room with a computer and lots of speakers. The importance of this space is not how it looks, but how it sounds.
